Paul W. Tipton Paul W. Tipton is a founding partner of the law firm of Tipton Jones. He focuses his practice in complex commercial litigation as well as corporate and business law. His practice includes shareholder and fiduciary duty litigation, representation of emerging and growing businesses, and probate. 80% of the practice is devoted to litigation.

Paul served as President of the North Dallas Bar Association from 1992 to 1993 and again from 1999 to 2000. He is member of the Corporate Counsel, Business Law, and Computer and Technology Sections of the State Bar of Texas and is a member of the Dallas Bar Association and the North Dallas Bar Association.

Paul received a Juris Doctorate degree in 1979 from Baylor University, where he was president of the Phi Delta Phi legal fraternity, and was admitted to the bar in Texas and the U.S. Federal Court in the same year. He was a litigation attorney at a prominent Galveston law firm before founding the law firm of Paul W. Tipton & Associates, P.C. That firm became Tipton Jones in 2005.
